Episode: 7.30.10 Dastardly Plans

Host: Jerry Adams, Pops (On The Front Lines)

Today Jerry starts with a letter form President Obama which states that “For these reasons, I have determined that it is necessary to continue the national emergency declared on August 1, 2007, to deal with that threat and the related measures adopted on that date to respond to the emergency.”  Many Western states, including Utah, Washington and Colorado, have long outlawed individuals from collecting rainwater on their own properties because, according to officials, that rain belongs to someone else.  Wal-Mart Stores Inc. plans to roll out sophisticated electronic ID tags to track individual pairs of jeans and underwear, the first step in a system that advocates say better controls inventory but some critics say raises privacy concerns.  The investment arms of the CIA and Google are both backing a company that monitors the web in real time — and says it uses that information to predict the future.  An updated edition of a mental health bible for doctors may include diagnoses for “disorders” such as toddler tantrums and binge eating, experts say, and could mean that soon no-one will be classed as normal.  Where is all the oil? Nearly two weeks after BP finally capped the biggest oil spill in U.S. history, the oil slicks that once spread across thousands of miles of the Gulf of Mexico have largely disappeared.

In this episode we announce our new daily T.R.A.P. coverage.  Why global warming is a farce.   The United States has spent more than $1 trillion on wars since the September 11, 2001, terror attacks, a recently released Congressional report says.  Motorway lights are being switched off at midnight across the country in a move critics warn could compromise safety. NSA breaks secrecy on its plans for $5.2B expansion.  Two weeks ago, CIA Director Leon Panetta told the press the CIA had not been able to positively confirm any specific information on Osama bin Laden since “late 2000.” Interviews with high ranking military and intelligence officials, some at the highest levels, have confirmed that all evidence lends toward Osama bin Laden’s death in December 2001. Yet transcripts of translated audio and video tapes, albeit widely disputed, are continually released by a news agency tied to Israeli intelligence services.

Aldous Huxley Special

Tonight in our Special Series we will focus on Aldous Huxley, and listen to his 1958 interview by Mike Wallace.

Aldous Leonard Huxley (26 July 1894 – 22 November 1963) was an English writer and one of the most prominent members of the famous Huxley family. He spent the later part of his life in the United States, living in Los Angeles from 1937 until his death in 1963. Best known for his novels including Brave New World and wide-ranging output of essays, Huxley also edited the magazine Oxford Poetry, and published short stories, poetry, travel writing, and film stories and scripts.

Aldous Huxley was a humanist and pacifist, and he was latterly interested in spiritual subjects such as parapsychology and philosophical mysticism. He is also well known for advocating and taking psychedelics.

By the end of his life Huxley was considered, in some academic circles, a leader of modern thought and an intellectual of the highest rank, and highly regarded as one of the most prominent explorers of visual communication and sight-related theories as well.

Brave New World is a novel by Aldous Huxley, written in 1931 and published in 1932. Set in London of AD 2540 (632 A.F. in the book), the novel anticipates developments in reproductive technology and sleep-learning that combine to change society. The future society is an embodiment of the ideals that form the basis of futurism. Huxley answered this book with a reassessment in an essay, Brave New World Revisited (1958), and with his final work, a novel titled Island (1962), both summarized below.

In 1999, the Modern Library ranked Brave New World fifth on its list of the 100 best English-language novels of the 20th century.

Hosts: Jerry Adams, Miguel Espinal (Defender of Freedom), Pops(On the Front Lines)

Today the main theme of the show is how the U.S. Government favors corporations and disregards the rights of its lawful citizens. More than 90 U.S. banks and thrifts missed making a May 17 payment to the U.S. government under its main bank bailout program, signaling a rising number of lenders are struggling to meet their obligations.  After the meeting, Obama and BP announced the establishment of an independently operated escrow account, the Independent Claims Facility, funded by up to $20 billion paid out over the next four years. BP said it would delay dividend payouts over the remainder of the year estimated at $10 billion. Other details of the escrow account remain vague.  Because – as part of their PR campaign – BP is doing everything it can to prevent dramatic pictures or headlines regarding the oil spill.  The Short film BP does not want you to see Shot by Robert M. Young and Edward James Olmos on a trip to the heart of the oil spill in the Gulf. Edited by Stephen Cohen.   If we look at the corporation as a legal person, it exhibits all the characteristics of a psychopath using a personality diagnostic checklist by the World Health Organization.  The last eight presidents have gone on television and promised to move America towards an energy-independent future.

In this episode we delve deep into the BP oil disaster, in ways you probably have never heard of before. The chief executive of BP sold £1.4 million of his shares in the fuel giant weeks before the Gulf of Mexico oil spill caused its value to collapse.  Despite the Israeli governments thorough efforts to confiscate all footage taken during the attack, Iara Lee was able to retain some of her recordings.

Today we start with learning about the complete global financial collapse in three minutes.  How BP has been spilling oil intentionally in order to purposely drive up the price of oil for July, 4!  Builder-burg meeting 2010 in Spain.  Miguel and Pops go off on Israel’s handling of the Palestinian flotilla.

I Jerry Adams, completely disagree with what Miguel and Pops were saying about the Israeli government.  I think that we have zero right to tell countries how they should run their governments.  That is why we fight against the one world government initiative.  Also I think that their is not enough information to even form a judgment right now.  People are forming opinions on the situation with extremely biased media coverage.  I also do not agree with their candor.  I think that Israel is fighting for its very right to exist as they are encircled from all sides by those who want to destroy them.  Unfortunately, I did not have enough time to dispute them in this episode but I do plan on writing an article about it.  You can also believe me when I say we will be starting next Fridays show with this topic and I will have the first word.

Ayn Rand Mike

Host: Jerry Adams

Tonight Jerry focuses on author Ayn Rand who wrote Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged.  Rand’s political views, reflected in both her fiction and her theoretical work, emphasize individual rights (including property rights) and laissez-fare capitalism, enforced by a constitutionally limited government.

She was a fierce opponent of all forms of collectivism and statism, including fascism, communism, socialism, and the welfare state, and promoted ethical egoism while rejecting the ethic of altruism.

She considered reason to be the only means of acquiring knowledge and the most important aspect of her philosophy, stating, “I am not primarily an advocate of capitalism, but of egoism; and I am not primarily an advocate of egoism, but of reason. If one recognizes the supremacy of reason and applies it consistently, all the rest follows.”
